L.A. Noir To Become Television Series

Frank Darabont can do no wrong in my eyes. After The Walking Dead and The Shawshank Redemption I have faith in all of his projects. So I suspect that his new project, the television series L.A. Noir is going to be just as phenomenal. The show will be based on John Buntin’s critically acclaimed book “L.A. Noir: The Struggle for the Soul of America’s Most Seductive City,” which chronicles the epic battle between Los Angeles Police Chief William Parker and mobster Mickey Cohen. Continue reading

In the month of January and the beginning of the new year sees a ton of new book adaptations. It seems like everywhere you look a new book is being remade into a movie (or a show) and you might not always hear about them, even the good ones.
