That’s right folks, you read that title correctly. There is news of a Jurassic Park 4 in the making! This news brought to you by the acclaimed director himself, Steven Spielberg. The good people at Comingsoon.net got a chance to sit down with Mr. Spielberg during an interview about the upcoming movie release.
As you know the film trilogy were based on the novels by Michael Crichton, with the first novel being released in 1990. It was such a powerhouse story that it was adapted to film only 3 years later follows closely by the next two films of the trilogy.
During the interview with the acclaimed director, he was asked about his busy schedule and the his future films:
“I haven’t been active in the last year because I’ve been so busy obviously on ‘War Horse,’ ‘Tintin’ and now I’m currently shooting ‘Lincoln,’ but right now, it’s on the schedule to bring out another ‘Jurassic Park.'”
Glorious news indeed! It’s been so many years since we’ve seen terrified civilians running for their lives, trying to outrun our favorite prehistoric predators! They were unable to obtain any news as to whether it’ll be a remake, a prequel, or an entirely new movie made from scratch. They obviously want to keep as much of it hush hush as they can before any official news is released.
That said, we can look forward to the tyrannical terror that will be Jurassic Park 4! Hopefully coming soon to a theater near you… Within the next couple years. Or hopefully sometimes in 2013 where they have said it is planned for release.
