Inside H.R. Giger’s Alien (Literally)

I know you guys are like me, you watch the Alien films and wonder, “What does the Alien look like on the inside!” Oh, thats just me? Well either way, we can now see what it looks like on the inside and what powers the beast.

Inspired by the book “An Anatomical Guide to Monsters.” an artist decided to make his own cross section for one of the worlds favorite Alien beasts. Brad McGinty has tried his own art style to create an anatomically correct awesome alien.

The Alien design is credited to Swiss surrealist and artist H. R. Giger, originating in a lithograph called Necronom IV and refined for the series’ first film, Alien. The species’ design and life cycle have been extensively added to throughout each film.

Just a little information about the Alien, they differ from many popular versions of aliens in that they aren’t an intelligent race but more of a predatory race of creature with goals of propagation of their species and destruction of life that pose threats to them. Much like wasps or termites.
