The truly awesome thing about films shooting on-location is the ninja-like camera owners that go the extra mile to deliver the goodies, and the newest pics and videos of The Dark Knight Rising filming in New York City have some real goodies in store. Unfortunately, the clips could provide some spoilery details so you might not want to proceed if you want to be surprised.

Things are apparently rough in Gotham City as the latest pics, provided by ‘FaNGuY’ over at SuperHeroHype Forums reveal motorcycles jumping over Gotham PD cruisers and even a SWAT van on location, and isn’t that Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) on the back of one of those bikes?
We also get to see the BatWing doing its thing and some weird globe sitting in the middle of the street. It’s just a guess but I’d say the little timer on the left-hand side says it’s a bomb.
Intrepid videographers ‘DBMilano,’ ‘OriginalSpaceGhost,’ and ‘danielknigther’ also provided some sweet-looking video clips of the action, showing cops aiming guns at a few people in very colorful outfits, as well as some motorcycle action that captures the fun from two separate angles.
Enjoy the behind-the-scenes peeks while you can because production on the film is expected to wrap on November 14th and then its behind closed doors for post-production.
The Dark Knight Rises in theaters on July 20, 2012.
