According to a report from TV Guide, Katrina Law, most known for her role in “Spartacus,” is heading to The CW for the role of Nyssa al Ghul in “Arrow.” Nyssa is the daughter of Ra’s al Ghul and half-sister of Talia. In the series, Nyssa will be a member of the League of Assassins where she will make her way to Starling City to face off against Caity Lotz’s Black Canary. In the show, her last name will be al Ghul rather than Raatko.
Law joins several new additions in the new season of “Arrow” including Summer Glau as Isabel Rochev, Caity Lotz as Black Canary, Michael Jai White as Bronze Tiger, Kevin Alejandro as Sebastian Blood, Bex Taylor-Klaus as Sin, Dylan Neal as Dr. Anthony Ivo and Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash.

The series follows billionaire playboy Oliver Queen, portrayed by Stephen Amell, who, after five years of being stranded on a hostile island, returns home to fight crime and corruption as a secret vigilante whose weapon of choice is a bow and arrows. Unlike in the comic books, Oliver does not go by the alias “Green Arrow” in the television series. The second season of the show premiered on October 9, 2013
“Arrow” airs Wednesdays at 8 P.M. ET/PT on The CW.
