“Arrow” Gains Summer Glau for Major Role in Season 2

Summer Glau, the lady who I think would make a great friend in my imaginary world, has joined season 2 of The CW’s popular superhero series, “Arrow.” According to The Hollywood Reported, Glau will be taking on the major role of Isabel Rochev. The character is described as being “enigmatically beautiful” and “dangerous.”

Isabel Rochev will work for  Stellmoor International, which is looking to buy out Oliver Queen’s family company Queen Consolidated. Summer Glau will make her debut appearance as the character in the Season 2 premiere. The comic book character first appeared in the Green Arrow comic books only three years ago. She rose to the top of Queen Industries and sought to bring it back to its former glory, seeing herself as the rightful heir. It would appear this intense rivalry between the two of them will carry over into the television series.

The star of “Arrow,” Stephen Arnell, recently spoke about the upcoming season. He teased that it would feature “a growing world” for Oliver Queen. Series regular, Colton Haynes has also teased that “a few of the most important DC characters” will be joining the series.

Production has already begun on season 2 with more casting announcements expected in the future. Season 2 premiering on October 9th while Season 1 will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on September 7th.
