The story is set in the future where teleportation technology allows people to travel back and forth between Earth and Mars, the storyline deals with the ramifications of an accident in which an individual is both teleported and remains behind, creating a perfect duplicate.

It was also announced that Affleck would produce along side Lowery, Toby Halbrooks, James M. Johnston and Jim Wilson.

Affleck’s latest project, Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, is currently in theaters. He is also set to appear in another upcoming science fiction project from Christopher Nolan entitled, Interstellar. It follows the events when a wormhole is newly discovered, a team of explorers embark on a voyage through it to transcend previous limitations on human space travel. The Hollywood Reporter said in addition to the official synopsis, “The plot is believed to involve time travel and alternate dimensions, but other details are being kept under wraps.”
