The novel was first published in 2011 by Simon & Schuster.

Scarlett Johansson is set to make her directorial debut with a big screen adaptation of Truman Capote’s first novel “Summer Crossing.” The novel was written by the famed author in the 1940s. Capote eventually cast it aside and it was thought to be lost for over 50 years, but was eventually published in 2005.
