The upcoming MCU film, Black Panther has reportedly found a female lead in Oscar Winner Lupita Nyong’o. The film from Ryan Coogler is looking to cast the actress to star opposite Chadwick Boseman in Marvel’s standalone film focusing on the character introduced in Captain America: Civil War.
The details surrounding her potential character have not been revealed but we do know that her role will see her the main love interest to T’Challa/Black Panther.
Black Panther is being written and directed by Creed’s Ryan Coogler. The character is both a great warrior and the king of Marvels’ fictional, technologically advanced African nation Wakanda. The character is also expected to appear in the two-part Avengers film, slated to premiere in 2018 and 2019, respectively.
