New Posters For the Woman In Black

In case you are waiting anxiously for the film, The Woman In Black, these two new posters should hold you over till it arrives in theaters. I will be there waiting with you till this film is released! (Considering it is the first post-Harry Potter role for Daniel Radcliffe!)

CBS Films released the alternate poster art which oddly enough doesn’t even show Radcliffe. It more enigmatically shows a ghostly woman in black (hey thats the title!) and creepy, and I mean CREEPY, little ghost children at her side. I can only imagine those children are there to do her bidding.

In case you haven’t heard of the film yet, it is based on the book of the same name written by Susan Hill. It follows a smart young lawyer named Arthur Kipps, yes thats Radcliffe, who must travel to a remote and slightly deserted village and handle a deceased clients papers and files. However, as he toils over the work, he begins to unravel tragic secrets of the village and the client. This is accompanied by a mysteriously woman in black who he glimpses more and more. When he questions the locals he gets no answers. He is forced to set out on his own to figure out the true identity of the woman and stop her from her true intent.

The studio has also released a viral website in connection with this film. It teases the film and also has some exclusive insight to the film.

The film stars Daniel Radcliffe, Ciaran Hinds, Liz White, Janet McTeer, Alisa Khazanova.

This is going to one hell of a creepy movie. So I recommend you watch it.

You can see the new alternate poster below as well as view the trailer here.
