Sony Pictures Options Sci-Fi Novel Tomorrow and Tomorrow

Sony Pictures has officially optioned the soon to be published sci-fi novel “Tomorrow and Tomorrow” written by Thomas Sweterlitsch. While the novel is not set to be published till next year, Sony has already seen the promises of a successful film adaptation. 

“Tomorow and Tomorrow” is set 10 years after a deadly attack on Pittsburgh. There is one survivor, an archivist, who is working on a digital recreation of the city. One day he comes across evidence of a conspiracy and cover-up that (as it often will) threatens to tear his world apart.

Noah Oppenheim is set to adapt the novel. He recently adapted the popular dystopian novel, “The Maze Runner” for film early this year. Film 360 and the Mark Gordon Company are set to produce.
