Jamie Foxx recently appeared on “The Tonight Show” to talk about his upcoming role as as Max “Electro” Dillon in Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The film is a sequel to the 2012 film The Amazing Spider-Man. The studio hired James Vanderbilt to write the screenplay and Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci to re-write it. Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Shailene Woodley, Paul Giamatti, Denis Leary,Colm Feore, Chris Cooper, Sally Field, Chris Zylka, Marton Csokas, and Felicity Jones are set to star. While I had desperately hoped that the announcement that Quicksilver would be in both Marvel’s The Avengers 2 and X-Men Days of Future Past meant a burgeoning partnership to end all partnerships of comic book movie adaptations. It seems it will not happen.
