While I had desperately hoped that the announcement that Quicksilver would be in both Marvel’s The Avengers 2 and X-Men Days of Future Past meant a burgeoning partnership to end all partnerships of comic book movie adaptations. Evan Peters Set To Play Quicksilver In X-Men: Days of Future Past


Adorable nugget who I want to make out with, Evan Peters, has officially joined the cast of X-Men: Days of Future Past as Magneto’s son, Pietro Maximoff, aka Quicksilver.Director Bryan Singer revealed the news via his Twitter feed after news broke from Joss Whedon that Quicksilver and his sister, Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, both have roles in his script for Marvel’s The Avengers 2. The Avengers 2 Set to Film in the UK in Early 2014



The Marvel Cinematic Universe continues onward. While we know that the finished product of Marvel’s The Avengers 2 is several years away, the studio is about to at least start work on the project. Screen Daily reported that production for the sequel is about to begin in Pinewood-Shepperton at the end of this year with filming expected to begin in early 2014. This will be the third film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to be filmed in that area with Thor: The Dark World filmed in and around the area and Guardians of the Galaxy is currently in production there.
