The upcoming big screen adaptation of the novel, A Slight Trick of the Mind has added Sir Ian McKellan to the cast. The film is based on the novel of the same name written by Mitch Cullin. Andy Dwyer, or as you may also know him, Chris Pratt, recently sat down with IGN to talk about his upcoming film, Guardians of the Galaxy. The project is the big screen film adaptation of the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Snowpiercer Director Talks Cuts to North American Version of Film

Recently The Weinstein Company announced that they would be editing the upcoming film, Snowpiercer which pissed off fans and critics alike (including myself). They announced their plans to cut 20 minutes from the North America version of the film because they felt our audiences wouldn’t be able to understand the full film. New Featurette Revealed For The Factions in Divergent

The first official featurette for Summit Entertainment’s Divergent has been released online. The video explores the different factions within the story. Divergent is a thrilling adventure set in a future world where people are divided into distinct factions based on their personalities. Tris Prior (Woodley) is warned she is Divergent and will never fit into any one group. Tracy Letts Eyed For The Grapes of Wrath Adaptation

Tracey Letts, the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and screenwriter, is officially in talks to pen the upcoming adaptation of John Steinbeck’s also Pulitzer Prize-winning iconic classic novel, “The Grapes of Wrath.” The adaptation will come from DreamWorks, who is currently trying to secure Letts as the screenwriter for the project.
