Warner Bros. is finally looking to title the upcoming “Batman vs. Superman” film from Zach Snyder. For the last few months the collective internet has stuck with calling the feature merely “Batman vs. Superman” since no official title had been confirmed. Now, according to Fusible, an official title is on the way.
Fusible told ComingSoon.net,
There’s been a lot of debate over the official title of the upcoming Batman vs. Superman film scheduled to be released in 2015. This week, Warner Bros. secretly registered a host of possible titles through the internet brand protection company MarkMonitor. Now, it’s likely the debate is going to get more opinions. According to the latest domain registrations, possible titles include “Man of Steel Battle the Knight”, “Man of Steel Beyond Darkness”, “Man of Steel Black of Knight”, “Man of Steel Darkness Falls”, “Man of Steel Knight Falls”, “Man of Steel Shadow of the Night”, “Man of Steel The Blackest Hour”, and “Man of Steel The Darkness Within”.
The Man of Steel sequel is scheduled to hit theaters on July 17, 2015. It stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Diane Lane and Laurence Fishburne.
Maybe Warner Bros. will take the easy way out and just keep the name we have been using for months.
Fans are incredibly curious about what to expect out of Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel sequel, Batman vs. Superman. Currently rumors are swirling that Adam Driver is the frontrunner for the role of Dick Grayson in the feature. Grayson is known best as Bruce Wayne’s young ward and sidekick masked crimefighter Robin (and later Nightwing.)
Driver is most known for starring on the HBO series, “Girls.” He was also seen in the films Lincoln and Frances Ha. He can next be seen in Joel and Ethan Coen’s Inside Llewyn Davis, set to open in theaters December 13. His casting rumor is on the heels of news that three actresses are also testing for the rumored role of Diana Prince, aka Wonder Woman.
Batman vs. Superman will feature the return of Henry Cavill as Superman, facing off against Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman. Also starring Amy Adams, Diane Lane and Laurence Fishburne. There is no confirmed reveal of what the film’s exact storyline will be. Also a full cast list has not been released.
Personally, I would cast Joseph Gordon Levitt as Nightwing as he had his perfect opening for the role at the end of The Dark Knight Rises. What a missed opportunity.
The highly anticipated film hits theaters on July 17, 2015.
World renowned composer Hans Zimmer seemingly has scored a majority of the DC Comics feature films including Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy and Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel. So he was a natural choice when it came to choosing someone to score the upcoming Superman/Batman film. But Zimmer hasn’t agreed just yet. Continue reading
Walter White will NOT be playing Lex Luthor in the Man of Steel sequel (despite being perfect for the role, amiright?) Bryan Cranston has put the rumors to rest that he would be the major villain in the film series after several publications reported that he had signed a six-picture deal. Continue reading
Man of Steel, the new Superman reboot has officially hit theaters and captivated audiences everywhere. If you are like me, one of the best parts of a movie is the musical score. A new featurette has been released where Hans Zimmer, the composer behind the score of the film, takes you behind the scenes of his unique work on the film’s musical side.
The new Superman reboot Man of Steel, from Zach Snyder, recently added a new cast member. According to Variety, Richard Schiff, known for his role on “The West Wing” will join the cast as Doctor Hamilton, who is most likely based on the Professor Emil Hamilton from the comic books. Continue reading
