CBS Adapting Koethi Zan’s Best-Seller “The Never List”

CBS has announced their plans to being the novel, “The Never List” to the small screen. The novel was written by Koethi Zan is an international best-seller about four kidnapped girls. Author-screenwriter A.M. Homes (The End of Alice, The L Word) will pen the script and executive produce the CBS Television Studios drama, which has received a script commitment from the network. Continue reading

Fox Set to Begin Testing Actors for Fantastic Four Reboot

According to a recent report from Variety, Fox is preparing for a new “Fantastic Four” reboot and have already begun testing actors for the lead roles. Fox appears to be testing for the roles of Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic and Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman.

Kit Harington, Jack O’Connell and the previously rumored Miles Teller are rumored to be in the running for the role of Mr. Fantastic while Saoirse Ronan, Kate Mara and Margot Robbie are being looked at for the Invisible Woman.  Continue reading

Saw Writers To Adapt The Stuff of Legend

Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan, the writing duo who are responsible for four out of seven of the “Saw” franchise,” has been hired to write the big screen adaptation of the comic book, “The Stuff of Legend.” The comic book was written by Mike Raicht and Brian Smith and illustrated by Charles Paul Wilson III. The upcoming film, I, Frankenstein, has officially released it’s first trailer courtesy of Machinima. The Australian/American action/thriller film written and directed by Stuart Beattie, based on the unpublished graphic novel and original screenplay by Kevin Grevioux. According to actor Samuel L. Jackson, Elizabeth Olsen, the more talented of the Olsens, is set to play the Scarlet With in the upcoming Avengers sequel. Walt Disney Pictures and Marvel Studios have not officially confirmed the casting but during an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Jackson confirmed Olsen had indeed secured the role.  Continue reading

Hunger Games: Catching Fire Soundtrack List Unveiled

The official track listing for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack has been released. The soundtrack will be released through Lionsgate and Republic Records.  The full soundtrack list includes tracks by hit artists such as Imagine Dragons, Lorde, The Weeknd, Ellie Goulding, Santigold and Mikky Ekko. The album will be released Nov. 19, just days before the release of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire on Nov. 22 worldwide by Lionsgate.
