Ok, yes I know that I am about 20 years to late watching this film, but I finally got around to it a few nights ago (thank you Netflix and Gabe from the Office for referencing this film.) The film, Hardware (1990) is loosely based on a short story from the 2000 AD comic book. The Short story, called SHOK! Okay! I’ll admit there’s nothing creepy about the photos but the trailer and behind-the-scenes look at Stephen King’s Bag of Bones more than makes up for that. You might want to turn the lights on before viewing… unless a girl doing the freaky jerky-head thing underwater is your thing.

The remarkable manga/comic and cinematic awesomeness that is Akira is in the process of being remade with major casting rumors swirling through the channels.
According The Hollywood Reporter, it is strongly rumored that Garrett Hedlund was in talks to play the role of Kaneda in the remake. This film is going to be a massive live action science fiction epic (and I have a feeling that like the original, its going to rock my world and blow your mind).
Before they were enemies, they were friends, but that was then and this is now, so exactly what will happen with Professor X and Magneto now they’ve gone their separate ways? Jason Flemyng, who played the red-skinned Azazel, says we’ll get to find out because a sequel to X-Men: First Class is in the works.
